Eureka is in Lincoln County, 75 miles from the world-renowned Glacier National Park and 65 miles from Kalispell, home of Glacier International Airport. Eureka is situated 50 miles from both Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort in Whitefish, Montana and Fernie Ski Resort in British Columbia, Canada. The economy is supported by the timber industry, ranching, and tourism. Only 11% of Lincoln County is privately owned, the rest is public lands available for fishing, hunting and hiking. Eureka offers its residents several amenities including a city park, Lincoln County public library, and the Creative Arts Center.
